My prelim

I am happy with my front cover because i feel like it is relevant to my magazine, which is a teen mag. I have a relevant picture and relevant text which will make teenagers buy it.

However i don't think my contents page is very good. The colours clash a little bit and i haven't shown any it skills. Also while the pictures are relevant, it isn't up to standard, and so i think the next time i will need to make and edit pictures, to make my contents page look exciting. For the pictures i could have used photoshop more, in order to show my skills in I.T.

(Right) is my contents page. I am happy with the thing i have written but i am not so happy with the pictures and colour of text/background. (Left) is my front cover. I am happy with the picture, and the colour of the title, but not so much the colour of the smaller text.

Senna
Senna is my favourite film because i like formula one and he was one of the greatest drivers that ever drove in it. I became a fan of Ayrton Senna after the film for these reasons:  He was a good driver in wet and dry conditions, and he always thought about other people and helped people from Brazil. Here are some details of the documentary:
  • running time - 108 minutes
  • Written - Manish Pandey
  • About - Senna
  • Box office - $11,849,471

What makes a blog good?

We have been discussing what makes a blog good, and to do this we looked at others people's blogs, and decided what grade they should get. We looked at them in detail and had to base our decision on their use of I.T pictures, colour, and text in the blog. We looked at three and had to decide which got the A*, the A, and the C.
The one which had the A* was very different to the one which got a C. They had more pictures, their text was shorter but still the same in detail, and their use in I.T was clearer. The colour of the text with the background was clear and easy to read as it didn't clash. It was also neatly presented. Things were also spread out nicely and it wasn't all cramped in together. It was also easy to read and understand, as it was all laid out so well. The C grade piece was mainly text, and while it was well presented, it was just text and their was not really any pictures, and the colours did clash and it was hard to read.

So we have learnt that to make a good blog you need to have a lot of pictures, but ones which are relevant and ones which make sense to the type of blog that you are doing. You have to make sure that when you are writing text you aren't clashing the colours with the background. Its also an idea to show some I.T skills off, and present your work in a neat way.
